Skillful passion

The Nashville-based Cordovas winter in Todos Santos, Baja California Sur, Mexico. The band hosts a four-day music festival the second week of January each year called the Tropical of Cancer Music and Arts Festival. They invite fellow Americana musicians from around the world to play at several intimate venues in the Pueblo Magico. This is a not to be missed immersion in the beauty of song. Beyond the festival, the Cordovas play twice each week. Thursday evening is a standing residency at La Esquina. One of the most charming venues in the Baja. These are acoustic shows that showcase Joe Firstman and Lucca Soria playing guitars and singing beautiful harmonies. Saturday nights are electric shows at La Morena. A lively downtown cantina with the opportunity to get up close and personal while the band rocks the house. The joy that is shared by the songs and musicianship is worth a trip to Todos Santos.
